Job Description :

Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for equipment and machinery.
  • Plan and schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruptions to production schedules.
  • Coordinate with production and operations teams to prioritize maintenance tasks based on operational needs.

2. Equipment Maintenance and Repairs:

  • Oversee the inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ensure that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained and serviced according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or contractors for specialized repairs or services as needed.

3. Safety and Compliance:

  • Enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe work environment for maintenance staff and other employees.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to equipment maintenance and workplace safety.

4. Inventory Management:

  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, tools, and supplies needed for maintenance activities.
  • Monitor stock levels, reorder supplies as necessary, and ensure proper storage and organization of inventory items.
  • Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and loss of materials.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and maintenance schedules.
  • Generate reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, evaluate maintenance effectiveness, and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in maintenance management or supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as maintenance best practices and techniques.
